“True love is eternal, infinite, and always like itself. It is equal and pure, without violent demonstrations: it is seen with white hairs and is always young in the heart.” There couldn’t be a better definition for true love than the words of eminent French novelist and playwright Honore de Balzac. Such kind of selfless love our grandparents shared, is hard to come by these days. Most people in the internet savvy generation are reluctant to commit in serious relationships and the concept of true selfless love is slowly fading away.
However, Samaritans like the one in these photos are proving to everyone that the love described in fairy tales, where the prince slays the dragons to rescue the princess, does exist in real life. He was always there for the love of his life, in every step and never let her face the demons alone.
The princess here though, is not one who pertains to the conventional beauty norms, as one can see in the pictures. A horrific accident left her bereft of eyesight and scarred, but the Knight in shining armour never left her hand.
His love for her was so great that he overlooked the marred physical appearance and accepted her whole-heartedly. His devotion for the girl is truly an inspiration for many and teaches us that true love indeed is blind to all imperfections; it is just about loving someone unconditionally.
